Content Editor – Cybersecurity & Compliance
About the Role We publish thought-leadership content for technical leaders at companies where compliance is a condition of doing business. The hard part is not generating drafts. It is making them sharp, accurate, and worth a CTO's time.
Our drafts start from our own internal knowledge base and real client engagement insights, so you are refining genuine expertise, not rewriting generic AI filler. Your job is to take strong raw material and make it read like it came from someone who has done the work.
Our goal is simple: publish more quality content, faster.
We are continuously improving the Claude skills that produce our drafts, so the raw material keeps getting closer to finished. Your edits are the feedback loop that makes that happen. Every correction you make teaches the system, the drafts get stronger, and we publish more without lowering the bar. As output grows, so does the work for the person sharpening it.
This is a part-time, flexible role to start. Our starting target is 5 to 10 blog posts per week, each with an accompanying LinkedIn post, and we expect that volume to grow.
What You'll Do
Edit AI-drafted markdown blog posts for accuracy, clarity, flow, and tone Write and adapt the LinkedIn post that accompanies each blog post Catch factual errors, hallucinations, and unsupported claims before they publish Translate dense technical material into language a busy executive will actually read Make sure target keywords land naturally in the first two paragraphs Keep the editorial workflow moving in GitHub: drafts, notes, final versions
Tools We Use (Nice to Have, Not Required) You do not need to be an expert in these on day one, but comfort here will help you move faster and we will train you on our setup:
Claude / AI writing tools for drafting and editing at speed Ahrefs for keyword research and tracking how published content performs GitHub for managing markdown drafts and editorial notes (basic file access is enough) If you already know how to find the right keyword for a piece and check whether last month's posts are ranking, that is a strong plus.
What We're Looking For Excellent editing and writing across cybersecurity, compliance, and technology topics A sharp eye for detail and a low tolerance for factual errors The ability to make technical ideas clear to a non-technical executive Working knowledge of SEO and how keywords support a piece The pace to handle real volume without letting quality slip Clear, reliable communication and dependable turnaround
How the Work Flows Review the AI-generated markdown and leave editorial notes Edit each draft for accuracy, tone, and search visibility Write the companion LinkedIn post
Loop in the CEO for approvals and revisions Work the hours that suit you, as long as deadlines hold
Trial We start with a paid trial so we can both see the fit. Expect 3 to 5 hours:
Audit 2 to 3 existing blog posts. For each, flag 2 errors or weak spots and 2 concrete improvements. Edit 1 to 2 AI-generated drafts to show how you work.
If the fit is right, the role continues on an ongoing basis.
How to Apply Send us: A short cover note (one paragraph): why this role, and why you Two writing samples that show your editing or content work, ideally before-and-after if you have it SEO experience: a few lines on how you have used keywords or tools like Ahrefs, and any results you can point to
Availability: hours per week and your typical turnaround per post
