Fantasy Lore Writer/Worldbuilding Historian Needed for Original Epic Fantasy Webtoon

About the Project

I'm developing an original epic fantasy webtoon inspired by the rich historical storytelling of Game of Thrones, Naruto, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Lord of the Rings, and One Piece.

This isn't a project about simply creating cool powers or designing fantasy races. The goal is to build a world with thousands of years of believable history that feels as though it existed long before the story begins.

Much of the foundation has already been created, including:

The world's history and timeline Magic system Four major tribes Multiple noble clans Political structure Some Historical eras Major historical events Important legendary figures Cultural themes and philosophies

Rather than building the world from scratch, I'm looking for someone who can help transform these foundations into a rich, interconnected history full of believable events, conflicts, traditions, and consequences.

Note: To work on this project, you must be comfortable signing an NDA (non-disclosure agreement). However, once the project is publicly released, you will be free to share that you contributed to the project and describe your role.

The Role

I'm looking for a creative collaborator who loves fantasy history and enjoys asking questions like:

How did this clan rise to power? Why did this civilization collapse? What historical event caused these two clans to hate each other? What famous battle changed the political landscape forever? How would these powers shape a culture over hundreds of years?

Your job will be to take the ideas I've already developed and help expand them into a living history.

For example, I may provide:

A clan's powers and philosophy A general idea of a founder's story Major historical milestones The beginning and ending of an event Political relationships Timeline notes General lore

From there, we'll work together to develop the missing history between those points.

This is a highly collaborative role. I'm not looking for someone to replace the vision of the world. I'm looking for someone who can strengthen it by expanding upon what's already established. However, I'm open to making modifications if needed.

Some examples of what we may work on include:

Developing the history of individual clans Creating wars, rebellions, betrayals, and alliances Expanding ancient historical events into full narratives Designing believable political conflicts Creating legendary historical figures Building traditions, customs, and cultural evolution Writing the rise and fall of civilizations Developing relationships between rival clans Expanding timelines spanning hundreds or thousands of years

The emphasis is always on cause and effect. Every historical event should feel like a natural outcome of what came before it.

then you'll have a good sense of the type of historical depth I'm hoping to create.

Historical timelines Clan descriptions Power systems Political structures World Map Existing lore Notes on major historical events Future story direction

You'll never be expected to invent everything from nothing. Instead, we'll collaborate to build upon these foundations and create a history that feels authentic, interconnected, and lived in.

Initially, I'd like to focus on expanding the history of one major tribe, including:

Clan origins Political evolution Major wars Historical figures Cultural traditions Legendary events Relationships between clans
