Google Performance Marketing Specialist (Google Ads / GA4) Needed - Contract to Hire

Overview

We're looking for an experienced Performance Marketing freelancer to set up, manage, and optimize our Google advertising and tracking. You'll work directly with us to improve campaign performance and hit our growth targets. This is a [one-time project / ongoing engagement] with room to grow into a long-term collaboration for the right person.

What you'll do

Build, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube, Display)

Set up and audit conversion tracking with GA4 and Google Tag Manager

Manage budgets and bidding to improve ROAS / lower CPA

Run A/B tests on ads, audiences, and landing pages

Deliver clear weekly/monthly reports with KPIs and recommendations

[Optional: Manage Google Merchant Center / product feeds]

What we're looking for

Proven experience managing Google Ads accounts (please share results/examples)

Strong skills in GA4 and Google Tag Manager (incl. conversion tracking setup)

Solid analytical mindset — comfortable working with data and metrics

Experience in [our industry: e.g. e-commerce / lead gen / B2B] is a plus

Google Ads certifications are a plus

Clear, proactive communication in English
