Academic proof reading (Freelance / Remote)

I am looking for an experienced academic editor to proofread and edit a 65,000-word PhD dissertation.

Deadline: Final delivery by next Tuesday (approximately 4 days). I will send an initial section beforehand so you can review the style and provide a sample of your editing approach before working on the full manuscript.

The work goes beyond grammar and proofreading. I am looking for someone who can strengthen the academic quality of the dissertation by:

Correcting grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax. Improving clarity, readability, and academic writing style. Strengthening the line of argument throughout the dissertation. Refining paragraph structure and transitions to improve the logical flow. Identifying inconsistencies in terminology and ensuring that key concepts are used consistently across the entire manuscript. Editing sentences where necessary to better support the central argument and overall academic structure. Maintaining the author's voice while improving precision and coherence.

The dissertation is in the field of architecture, urban design, and architectural theory, so experience editing academic work in architecture, urban studies, humanities, or related disciplines is highly desirable.
