Direct Response Copywriter (3+ Years, Proven Spend Required)

We're a scaling supplement brand looking for a direct response copywriter who can write copy that converts cold traffic into buyers — not pretty copy, copy that prints. This is for someone who lives and breathes DR: hooks, mechanisms, awareness levels, big-idea angles, and long-form that holds attention all the way to the CTA. If you've studied Schwartz, Halbert, Georgi, or Goff and you can prove your copy has moved real money, we want you. What you'll write:

Long-format native ads / advertorials (Meta primary text) Listicle and VSL-style landing pages Hooks and ad angles for static + UGC creative Email and follow-up sequences

Requirements (non-negotiable):

Minimum 3 years writing direct response copy (not brand/content writing — DR) Experience in supplements, health, wellness, or an adjacent high-velocity DTC vertical A track record you can prove with numbers, not vibes Fluent, native-level English with a strong grasp of US consumer psychology

DETAILS MATTER. Read carefully — this is how we separate real applicants from spam: Generic copy-paste proposals get deleted unread. To show us you actually read this and that you pay attention to detail (the exact same skill that makes great DR copy), your application must include all of the following:

Start your proposal with the word "MECHANISM" so we know you read to the bottom. A portfolio — links to 2–3 DR pieces you've written (ads, advertorials, or LPs), not a resume. Proof behind the work. For at least one piece, share the actual performance data: ad spend managed, CPA/CAC, ROAS, or CVR lift. Screenshots, dashboards, or a Loom walking through the numbers all work. No data = no reply. We're vetting for legit operators, not portfolios full of "spec" work nobody ran. One line on the best-performing angle you've ever written and why it worked.
